On July 22nd 2012, in the heart of Carisbrook at the Recreation Reserve, over 100 Carisbrook people gathered over lunch and began the process of change that will see great improvements, within the community, for the community and by the community. This process, although lengthy, resolved in the selection of 6 major and several minor projects.

Meetings on the upgrading the Carisbrook Market Reserve Upgrade has progressed works to plans, pledges of local monies and applications for additional monies.... These upgrades include provision for a toddler Playground and Petanque Area and an area set aside for the Skate Park - Bike Jumps.
Included in the Upgrade is a new Toilet Block, Toddlers Playground, Gazebo with Barbeque area and seating, Petanque Rinks, Verandah/Stage area attached to the existing Lions Club Hall, and upgraded paths, lawn and garden areas. (Refer to Map below for a concept view of area)
A committee consisting of Carisbrook Residents, Central Goldfields Shire Council, Carisbrook Projects Inc., Lions Club and Music Group members have been meeting over the last few months and agreement has been reached on the concept of the different requirements of the Market Reserve, with funds now being raised via various grants and projects to bring the wishes of the Carisbrook Community to a reality.

• Rose and Reflective Garden.... Completed on the grounds of St Paul's Anglican Church in Urquart Street Carisbrook and subsequently relocated to the Carisbrook Market Reserve on the sale of the church.
